Wish I was back at the ol' Sporto. Drag races, Concerts and wild times. Saw my first concert there. RUSH, March 18, 1983.

Rush Sportatorium 1978
I hated that show. We split some PCP with some groupies (they were hitchhiking -- and this one girl pulls out a poloroid of Jimmy Page in a speedo)and that was it -- I was in the car -- the parking lot -OUT OF MY SKULL- inside the sportatorium and there was Rush who I had never heard ( we saw a lot of bands just because it was cheap then and unless it was Skynyrd or Aerosmith it was just another $7.00 show.) and thought they sounded like a Yes ripoff... I did like them later...Oh yeah -- my brother who was also fucked up got punched out by one of the Outlaws motorcycle gang...That Sportatorium was one lawless place.
