Waiting For Stevie
on Buddy Guy, 1990 Aug 26
Buddy fully expected Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton to arrive very late as the were playing the same night at Alpine in East Troy, WI. Buddy hinted all night and later kept leaving the stage as if to check on SRV arrival. He was killed that night in the copter crash heading back to Chicago. Really sad.
