Cancelled?!!!
on U2, 2010 Jun 20
Just found out yesterday by chance that Sunday's show is Cx'd! Would've been a helluva tailgater in an empty lot...
Was it the 4th or 9th of January? Then again, nobody cared!
on KISS, 1984 Jan 4
This concert made KISStory by being their smallest draw at a major venue since 1975 when they became the headline act. I recall $immon$ stating to the news that the poor turnout was due to a HURRICANE off the Biloxi coast (in JANUARY!!!). However, Wiki & other sources state it was due to the close proximity of the two New Orleans shows a few days earlier. Regardless, KISS was on their downward spiral as 1,507 attended (which I personally believe is too high an estimate). I decided to go and without a ticket, walked in as security was practically nonexistent. The stage was configured by using only half the arena and I practically walked up to the rail near Paul Stanley with little effort. Not sure why the ticket I picked up off the floor says Jan 4 and all other sources state Jan 9th but hey, who cares right?
