Great Show
Labor day weekend 1974, went to see Rare Earth concert. Rare Earth got fogged in on the west coast and never made it. What a surprise when Rush hit the stage as the headline act. It was a fantastic show.
"Who are these guys???"
We were right up front for this one (general admission). Since Rare Earth didn't make it, Rush became the "Headliner". When they came on, we were like "WOW!!!, who are these guys???". They were doing the 1st album stuff, more "boogie oriented" than their later stuff. The modest crowd was rockin' out. Near the end, Rush was slinging out free copies of their debut album to the audience. We were blown away by their musicianship as well as the fact that there were only 3 of them. "Oh, the good old days...".
