This was a memorable show indeed. My friends and I were on the floor not too far from the little fence that kept people out of the photographer's area near the stage. Nobody was in that area throughout the entire first set, so it looked really inviting. Just before the band came back out from the intermission, the lights went down and that's when my best friend and I saw our chance. We hopped that fence and went right up to the stage. We were leaning over the top and pounding on the rim, a-hootin' and a-hollerin' when the band came back on. Jerry was walking right towards us, and when he saw us, he smiled a little and gently shook his head! They let us stay there for the entire opening number before someone finally came over and escorted us under the stage and out to the back of the arena.
I spent the rest of the show flat on my back in one of the empty upper upper rows of the arena with these words of Johnny Winter echoing thru my head... "You've been drinkin' too much whiskey, I believe you're takin' too much Seconal". LOL...!!

This show was officially released as Dick's Picks # 29, BTW.
