And what a day that was . The B-52 did not last 5 minutes on stage, with all the booing and throwing of coke cups at them

Ahhhh, yes!!!! I remember that!!!!! The people sitting all around us, screaming "you suuuuuuuuuck" at the b52' dude even took his shoes off and threw them at the stage. from the stands. yea, well, who the hell really wanted to sit through ANY band while waiting to hear theWho?????? We sure as hell didn't! goodtimesgoodtimes~

The B-52s got booed off the stage. They had to leave in mid-set. They had to flee, actually! I was in the stands watching with binoculars and I could see people up front throwing lettuce or cabbage or something at them. LOL...!! Just like in the movies!!

B-52s being booed off the stage, The Who

My buddy and I were probably about 15 feet from the wall and this guy took off one of his sneakers and chucked at the stage and hit one of the female singer's wig and then the band just stopped and walked off the stage. Really a bad idea to put them on this bill. Joan Jett at least rocked.

The Who was incredible! I remember seeing blood dripping off Pete's hand from doing his signature windmill. My first time seeing The Who and we camped out for tickets since this was announced as their farewell tour LOL!

great show

But I see we all remember the B52s being booed.Joan Jett was good but the Clash was opening up for them and I was hoping they would.Still have the Union Jack rag and the sticker from the local radio that they threw in the crowd
