The Who
I went to see them at this show in 1967. The bill was The Blues Magoos, The Who, and Herman's Hermits. The Blues Magoos had suits that lit up with multi colored ovals running up and down. The Who, of course, is why we were there. They were great...Pete throwing his blond Rickenbacker 360 in the air and slamming it to the ground and knocking his pair of Fender Dual Showman amps over. Keith destroying his double bass set of Premier drums with the "Happy Jack" paint job. Roger swinging his mic out over the crowd. Just awesome. Herman's Hermits were almost laughed of the stage. It was a great night.
