Formed in England in 1968, Led Zeppelin's style was loud and heavy from the start. They quickly became one of the world's top live acts and remained so until their breakup in 1980 following the death of drummer John Bonham. VH1 hails them as the greatest hard rock band and they have sold over 300 million albums worldwide.

"The Rover"

Never performed live in it's entirety, but as the intro, if you will, to "Sick Again" on many dates of the '77 tour.

Led Zeppelin In Toronto?

According to the list on this site the band only played one gig at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in the year 1971.

I lived in Toronto at the the time and was certain I had seen them in different years, definitely the 71 gig but also one in 72.

I also saw Page and Plant jamming with a local Drummer and Bass player in a Cafe called 'The Penny Farthing' in Yorkville owned by an English dude by the name of Wesley.

Eric Burden also played in this Cafe and Black Sabbath visited it when playing in Toronto.

Back to the the MLG gigs, please tell me it's a mistake on part of the compiler and that my memory isn't that bad.

The thing is, if my memory IS that bad it's been that bad for 36 years.

Regards,
Rab.
